AMERICAN Pickers has been a History Channel staple since it premiered in January 2010.

Though recent seasons have been subject to turbulent ratings and seen the ousting of a fan-favorite cast member, the reality series was recently renewed for more episodes.

Here are all the show details, including Mike’s new contract, the new season’s midwestern stops, and the returning cast before the American Pickers Season 26 premiere.

IT’S OFFICIAL!
This past May, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that American Pickers was renewed for three more years.

Series creator Mike Wolfe, 60, stars on the show alongside the current cast, which includes his brother Robbie Wolfe, 57, Danielle Colby, 48, and “Jersey Jon” Szalay, 61.

Mike, his brother Robbie, Jon, and their fellow co-star Danielle Colby hit the road to film new episodes of the long-running series after Season 25 wrapped earlier this year.

The cast has been on the road gathering content for the upcoming Season 26 after the series’ 25th season wrapped earlier this year.

“They are filming, they just got back from Louisiana,” a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

“They’re filming for Season 26 and they have signed on for three more years” the Pickers insider claimed.

American Pickers experienced inconsistent ratings throughout Season 25.

To date, the lowest rating for the season was a measly 774,000 viewers for the Valentine’s Day episode.

The season’s largest audience count raked in 948,000 viewers on January 24.

American Pickers has been on air for fourteen years and fans have had mixed reviews for the programming since the show axed the original cast member, Frank Fritz, 58.

Frank last appeared on the show in 2020 and was officially dismissed in 2021.

The U.S. Sun previously revealed Frank distanced himself from his co-star Mike and the show as he recovered from back surgery.

PREMIERE DATE
Last month, Robbie revealed the Season 26 premiere date when he posted a photo on Instagram of himself and the show’s film crew sitting on the porch of a rustic cabin.

He captioned the post, “Filming another new season of American Pickers.

Robbie announced Season 26 would premiere on “October 15” before telling fans, “See you soon.”

In the post’s comment thread, an excited fan wrote, “Can’t wait.”

“Woo hoo!!” commented another.

PICKING IN MIDWEST

The premiere date announcement came days after Robbie’s co-star, Jersey Jon, told fans that the Pickers cast and crew were “in the awesome Midwest filming all new episodes.”

The update, posted on the TV star’s Instagram, was accompanied by a looping video of a motorcycle engine, with the caption, “Get your motor runnin’!”

Jersey Jon is an antique expert with a fondness for vintage motorcycles who first appeared on the hit series during Season 7, which was aired in 2012.

Following his debut, Jon routinely joined Mike, Robbie, Danielle, and former American Pickers’ star Frank Fritz on their adventures before being confirmed as a series regular last December.

Jon previously revealed that he knew Mike long before he fronted American Pickers in an interview with the Antique Motorcycle Foundation, adding, “He’s a great friend.”

“When he is working on the East Coast, he sleeps on my couch. And when I go out west for the Davenport meet, he and I would go picking up and down the Mississippi River,” the New Jersey native said.

NEW SEASON

The updates come after Mike confirmed the series had been renewed despite the dip in ratings.

The TV star praised the show’s production crew while confirming the team was back on the road filming new episodes in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Mike posted a behind-the-scenes photo of himself posing with Jersey Jon and the rest of the American Pickers crew on July 24.

“I know everyone says they have the best crew, but in this business how many can say they have worked side by side with most for over a decade,” he wrote.

The History Channel star continued, “Some of the people in this shot have been with me going on 16 years now and a lot for over 10 years.

“Living and working side by side with them has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

The antiques expert revealed that he and his crew have “watched each other grow and evolve” in many beautiful ways.

“All this reflection comes from me signing another contract today to do another season [of American Pickers],” he continued, officially confirming the series was set to return for its 26th season.

Mike said that after he spent five years pitching American Pickers, he never thought in his “wildest dreams” how the show would “resonate with so many millions of people across the globe.”

“It shows me that history matters and the stories we uncover connect us all,” the reality star explained.

He concluded, “At a time when we all seem so divided we can still escape into the past for these little moments we create to find peace and common ground.”

Mike signed off, “Thank you for believing in this project it would not be possible without all of your support.”
