Chrisley Knows Best alum, Savannah Chrisley is ripping her brother for abandonment. She has taken on a lot since her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley went to prison in January 2023. Yet, she has never held back her feelings when she believes justice is being served. So, what is she saying to her brother and which one is she angry at? Keep reading for more details.

Savannah Chrisley Rips Brother For Abandonment

Since Todd and Julie Chrisley went to prison, Savannah Chrisley has stepped up in many ways. She became the guardian for her younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe. While doing so, she has also maintained her Unlocked podcast, worked on prison reform, and tried to free her parents. Furthermore, she has a real estate business and is doing her best to step up from sister to mother. Her youngest sibling, Chloe has expressed her pride for Savannah. She knows that she is doing the best that she can and it is not easy.

Along with Chloe, Savannah helped get Grayson off to college and prepped his dorm to the max. Not everyone agrees with her thought process but that does not stop her from moving forward. It also seems that, aside from her grandma, Nanny Faye, she has taken on the responsibility of her siblings solo. Savannah’s older brother, Chase Chrisley is not around often and she is estranged from Lindsie Chrisley. However, her current beef is with anyone who thinks Chloe is not her sister. Yes, she is the biological child of Savannah’s brother, Kyle but Todd and Julie gained custody when he was struggling.

According to People, Savannah Chrisley is making it clear that Kyle and his former partner, Angela Johnson, abandoned Chloe. She is also standing up for her sister and all of the pain that she has had to endure in her short life and continues to battle:

“My heart, honestly, breaks for Chloe because Chloe has not had an easy upbringing. Her biological parents turned their backs on her from a very young age. When my parents got custody of her, her biological father [was] completely out the picture [and] mother [was] out of the picture. That was their choice.”

It is also really hard for Savannah when people call Chloe her “niece” and not her sister. More so, she is explaining how Todd and Julie stepped up when they did not have to.

The Caretakers

Todd and Julie Chrisley may have made questionable decisions but it was a no-brainer to take Chloe in. Savannah Chrisley noted her parents were older when Chloe was born and were not looking to expand their family. Yet, when she needed them, they jumped into action, not thinking twice:

“Her mother gave her away. It wasn’t like my parents went out here and said, ‘Hey, I want a sixth child. We’re in the latter part of our life and we want a sixth child.’ No, they took Chloe because they loved her and they wanted to save her from a very bad situation. They wanted to give her the best life possible.”

She added how hard it is for Chloe when people refer to Todd as her “grandfather.” Chloe does not understand it and more so, it hurts her feelings. That is her father, Savannah is her sister, and that is the way it has been for years. Fortunately, Savannah calls Grayson and Chloe her best friends and though this was not the plan, it has worked out for the best.
